Welcome to Local Master. These terms govern your use of our website and apps (“the Platform”), which help you discover local businesses in Salgi, place orders, make bookings, and book cab rides. By using the Platform you agree to these terms.
1. What we are
Local Master is a discovery and booking platform that connects you with independent local businesses (“Vendors”). We are a marketplace, not the seller: the Vendor is responsible for the goods, services, rides and stays they provide. Your contract for any order or booking is with the Vendor, not with Local Master.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password private. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract under Indian law to transact. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the Platform, break these terms, or are used fraudulently.
3. Orders and bookings
Prices, availability and details are set by Vendors and can change. Placing an order or booking is an offer to the Vendor, which they may accept or decline. Some bookings — cab rides, hotel stays, rentals and tour packages — are confirmed only after payment is made and verified. Appointments and table reservations may be paid at the venue unless the Vendor states otherwise.
4. Payments
Payments are made directly to the Vendor through UPI. You scan the Vendor’s QR code (or use their UPI ID) in your own payment app and then submit the transaction reference (UTR) and a screenshot for the Vendor to verify. Local Master does not collect, hold, or process your money — the payment moves straight from your bank to the Vendor’s. Any platform fee shown on a cab fare is set by us and included in the amount you pay the Vendor; we settle it with the Vendor separately.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Each Vendor sets their own cancellation window and refund policy, shown at the time of booking. Because payments go directly to Vendors, any refund is issued by the Vendor. If a Vendor cancels a booking you paid for, they are responsible for refunding you. We will help mediate genuine disputes but cannot guarantee outcomes.
6. Cab rides
Cab rides are provided by independent cab Vendors and their drivers. Fares are calculated from the rate cards set on the Platform (base fare, distance, time, and any applicable surge, tolls and platform fee). Estimated fares may differ from the final amount if the route or waiting time changes. Ride safety, licensing and vehicle condition are the Vendor’s responsibility.
7. Vendor responsibilities
Vendors are independently responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and safety of what they provide, honouring confirmed orders and bookings, holding any licences the law requires, and charging correct prices and taxes.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Platform: no fraudulent orders, no fake reviews, no scraping or automated abuse, no attempts to break security, and no content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing. We may remove content and restrict accounts that do.
9. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or violate these terms.
10. Liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Local Master is not liable for the acts of Vendors, for goods or services you buy from them, or for losses beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the Platform grows. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the updated terms.
