Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Local Master collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as the Platform needs to work.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email, phone), the orders and bookings you make, the reviews you write, and basic device/usage information that keeps the Platform secure and working. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
Location
If you use “near me” features, your browser asks permission and sends a one-time location fix so we can pick your city and sort nearby shops. We do not store your coordinates — they are used for that request and discarded. We remember only the city you selected.
Payments
Payments go directly to the Vendor over UPI. We never see, collect or store your card numbers, bank details or UPI PIN. The transaction reference (UTR) and payment screenshot you submit are shared with the Vendor so they can verify your payment.
How we use data
To run your account, process orders and bookings, show relevant local recommendations, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share with
The Vendor you transact with receives what they need to fulfil your order or booking (such as your name, contact and, for delivery or a ride, your address or pickup point). We use a small number of service providers (for hosting, image storage and email) who process data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can update your profile, and you can ask us to remove your account. Some records tied to completed transactions may be retained where the law or a Vendor’s obligations require it. When an account is removed you may sign up again later with the same email as a new customer.
